Giving a Little Back. Business WIDE’s Community Support Policy

Sometimes it is important to stop and reflect on life’s journey and the good fortune that has come our way whether by pure serendipity or dint of hard work.

With this in mind, Business WIDE makes a commitment to try and give a little back in different ways.  We are proud to provide pro bono coaching to people working in a number of worthy organisations.  At present these are World Youth International, UN Women, Community Connections Inc and now the House with No Steps.

In addition to this ‘hands on’ support Business WIDE pledges part of its income to various charities.  In 2013 this is in the form of donation of 2% of gross revenue shared equally between: the Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal; World Vision; Greening Australia; and the University of Queensland’s Diamantina Institute for its research into ankylosing spondylitis, a crippling disease for which there is no known cure.  Contributions to these charities are made on a regular basis throughout the year.
